This return spring assembly is used in the RAPID 101 stapler to spring the stapler head back into the up position after stapling. The spring (black) portion of this assembly is normally what breaks. The spring is affixed with a heavy-duty rivet that is not easily removed: therefore the entire assembly is replaced.
There are two short slotted machine screws used for mounting this spring assembly. These are not included, therefore be certain to keep these screws when removing the broken assembly from your machine!
