This replacement numbering head is made specifically for the 'Number-Rite' variable impact numbering machine manufactured by Lassco Wizer. Letter style is ROMAN. (Old P/N WZ100B)
Since these heads take the brunt of constant shock during operation of this machine, it is considered a normal replacement part. Owners are urged to keep a spare on-hand as the head will eventually need change-out, and usually at a most inopportune time. This part is easy to install, and instructions are included.
In order to keep numbering heads operating efficiently, and for as long as possible, remember to do the following.
Clean and oil the head on a regular basis
Scrub head with a non-metallic brush and numbering machine cleaner
Use a combination cleaner/oil solution if possible
If your number machine cleaner is not an oily mixture, then you MUST OIL the head after cleaning using a lubricant not affected by cleaning solvents
